Highmountain Tribe
Earn Exalted status with the Highmountain Tribe.
Earn Exalted status with the Highmountain Tribe faction to complete this achievement and unlock the path toward recruiting Highmountain Tauren as an Allied Race on a Horde character.
Reach Exalted Status
Complete quests and content in Highmountain to grind reputation with the Highmountain Tribe until you reach Exalted. The reputation progress can be earned on any character on your account.
Meet Allied Race Requirements
To use this achievement toward recruiting Highmountain Tauren, you need a level 40 or higher Horde character on your account, as the recruitment scenario requires a Horde character of the appropriate level.
Note the Level Requirement Change
As of patch 10.1.5, the level requirement to unlock Allied Races was reduced to level 40 (down from level 50), so a level 40 Horde character is now sufficient to proceed with the Highmountain Tauren recruitment.
