Defeat Priestess Alun'za after defeating the Fatal Corruption in Atal'Dazar on Mythic difficulty.

Gold Fever is a 10-point achievement earned in Atal'Dazar on Mythic difficulty by defeating the Fatal Corruption add before killing Priestess Alun'za.

Enter on Mythic Difficulty

Set the dungeon to Mythic difficulty and enter Atal'Dazar, then engage Priestess Alun'za.

Let Spirit of Gold Feed

When Priestess Alun'za summons a Spirit of Gold, do not kill it. Allow it to move freely and soak 8 Tainted Blood puddles on the ground.

Kill Extra Spirits Immediately

If Priestess Alun'za summons additional Spirit of Gold adds during this phase, kill any extras right away, keeping only the one that is actively soaking puddles. If two spirits exist simultaneously, kill the one with fewer stacks.

Kill the Fatal Corruption

After the Spirit of Gold soaks 8 Tainted Blood puddles, it transforms into the Fatal Corruption. Kill the Fatal Corruption immediately.

Defeat Priestess Alun'za

With the Fatal Corruption dead, finish the fight normally by stepping into red puddles when Priestess Alun'za casts Transfusion, killing any remaining Spirit of Gold adds, and avoiding the metal blobs on the battlefield until Priestess Alun'za is defeated.

Tips

  • Since the Spirit of Gold will be soaking all Tainted Blood puddles, avoid heavy damage on Priestess Alun'za during the soaking phase as Transfusion will not heal effectively without blood pools.
