Bringing Hexy Back
Defeat all four bosses with at least one party member under the affects of Unstable Hex in Atal'Dazar on Mythic difficulty.
Bringing Hexy Back requires defeating all four bosses in Atal'Dazar on Mythic difficulty while at least one party member is under the effect of Unstable Hex, a debuff cast by Zanchuli Witch Doctors found exclusively on the right wing leading to Vol'kaal.
Enter on Mythic Difficulty
Set the dungeon to Mythic difficulty before entering Atal'Dazar. You do not need to complete all four bosses in a single run, and you do not need to use the same Unstable Hex across all bosses, as there are multiple Zanchuli Witch Doctors available.
Collect Zanchuli Witch Doctors
Head right at the bottom of the entrance ramp and begin clearing trash toward Vol'kaal — this is the only side of the dungeon where Zanchuli Witch Doctors spawn. Do not kill the Witch Doctors; kill their totems first, then the surrounding trash using single-target attacks only. Accumulate around five to seven Witch Doctors to improve the frequency of Unstable Hex casts.
Receive and Maintain the Hex
Zanchuli Witch Doctors periodically cast Unstable Hex, turning a target into a frog for five seconds. While hexed you retain character control and a circle appears around you; when the hex expires, it jumps to any player standing within that circle. Two players must stack on top of each other at all times to bounce the hex back and forth continuously throughout each boss fight.
Handle the Level Requirement
At max level (70+), Unstable Hex misses very frequently due to level deflection. Bringing a lower-level character — such as a level 50 — into the group significantly increases the chance of the hex landing successfully on that character.
Solo Pet Class Strategy
If soloing as a Hunter or another pet class, pull five or more Witch Doctors and kite them to each boss. Damage the boss down to roughly five percent health, then wait for a Unstable Hex cast to land on you. Once you are hexed, command your pet to finish the boss before the five-second hex expires. If the pet cannot kill the boss in time, set it to passive and wait for the next hex cast. Use Feign Death between bosses to reset the Witch Doctors so you can reuse them across all four fights.
Clear Bosses in Efficient Order
Recommended order is to clear all reachable trash to Priestess Alun'za first, then defeat Alun'za and Rezan in either order while maintaining the hex. Vol'kaal is the most difficult boss for this achievement because his health depletes automatically over the course of the fight, leaving a very narrow window to be hexed at the moment he dies. For group runs, some players hold a Witch Doctor in the boss room using Paralysis until the fight reaches around ten percent health, then release it to cast the hex before the boss is killed.
Tips
You do not need to complete all four bosses in the same lockout, so you can attempt one or two bosses per run if needed.
Killing Witch Doctors with AoE by accident will reduce your available hex sources, so use single-target abilities exclusively while building your Witch Doctor stack.
