Allied Races: Nightborne
Earn the allegiance of the Nightborne elves and welcome them into the Horde.
Allied Races: Nightborne requires you to earn Exalted standing with the Nightborne and complete the Insurrection achievement, then travel to Orgrimmar to recruit them into the Horde and unlock the Nightborne as a playable race.
Meet Requirements Before Starting
You need a Horde character at level 110, Exalted reputation with the Nightborne, the Insurrection achievement, and the Ain't No Mountain High Enough achievement. You must also have Battle for Azeroth purchased. Reputation and achievement requirements are account-wide, so they can be completed on any character.
Complete the BfA Introduction
Before the recruitment quest becomes available, you must complete the introductory Horde quest line for Zandalar. Without finishing this intro, the option to choose an allied race will not appear even if all other requirements are met.
Travel to Orgrimmar Embassy
On your level 110 Horde character, travel to Orgrimmar and speak with Lady Sylvanas Windrunner at 37.9, 80.9 in Orgrimmar. Pick up the quest A Choice of Allies, then talk to Baine Bloodhoof and Lady Liadrin, or click the two nearby flags, and select the Nightborne as your preferred allied race.
Begin Nightborne Recruitment Quest
After accepting the recruitment quest from Lady Liadrin, travel to Dalaran and then fly to Suramar via the Crimson Thicket flight path. Lady Liadrin can be found at 65.9, 63.7 in Suramar at Thalyssra's Estate to continue the Nightborne recruitment scenario.
Tips
The Insurrection achievement and Nightborne Exalted reputation can be earned on any character on your account, but the actual recruitment scenario must be completed on a level 110 Horde character specifically.
