Portal Combat
Defeat Portal Keeper Hasabel in Antorus, the Burning Throne after opening a chaotic rift on Normal difficulty or higher.
Portal Combat is a 10-point achievement earned by defeating Portal Keeper Hasabel in Antorus, the Burning Throne after opening a Chaotic Rift on Normal difficulty or higher.
Set Difficulty to Normal
Enter Antorus, the Burning Throne on Normal difficulty or higher, then pull Portal Keeper Hasabel. Do not deal damage to the boss during the following steps, as Phase 1 ends when she reaches 90% health and the Chaotic Rift can only be opened during Phase 1.
Enter the Orange Portal
Run into the orange portal and touch the orange cloud to gain the Everburning Flames debuff, then exit back to the main platform, dropping the orange cloud near the path toward the purple portal.
Enter the Purple Portal
Run to the purple portal and enter it, then touch the purple cloud to gain the Caustic Slime debuff, and exit back to the main platform.
Pick Up Dropped Orange Buff
On your way to the green portal, run through the orange cloud you dropped earlier to reapply the Everburning Flames debuff. Use a speed boost here to move quickly before the debuff expires.
Enter the Green Portal
Run into the green portal and touch the green cloud to gain the Mind Fog debuff. Having all three debuffs — Everburning Flames, Caustic Slime, and Mind Fog — simultaneously on one player will open the Chaotic Rift. The achievement tracker will update upon success.
Survive the Rift and Kill Boss
The Chaotic Rift will constantly pull you toward the back of the room and apply random debuffs to players. Survive the rift's effects, then defeat Portal Keeper Hasabel to complete the achievement.
Tips
The achievement tracker text will change from red to white once all three debuffs are simultaneously active on one player, confirming the Chaotic Rift has been triggered.
