Got My Mind On My Money requires you to loot a cumulative total of 
5,000 gold through any combination of raids, dungeons, quests, or outdoor content.
Choose Your Farming Method
Gold looted by other players in your party or raid also counts toward this achievement, so raids from any expansion — including Classic, The Burning Crusade, Wrath of the Lich King, and Cataclysm — all contribute progress.
Solo Old Raids and Dungeons
Entering old raids and heroic 5-man dungeons alone maximizes the gold you personally receive, since there are no other players to split drops with.
Enable Auto-Loot
Turn on auto-loot in your Interface settings so gold is automatically collected whenever you defeat an enemy, ensuring no loot is missed.
Quest and Kill Outdoors
Gold looted from questing, outdoor kills, and battlegrounds such as Tol Barad also counts toward the 5,000 gold total.
