Dark Souls
Defeat Kil'jaeden in Tomb of Sargeras without any Shadowsouls finishing a cast of Destabilized Shadowsoul on Normal difficulty or higher.
Dark Souls is a 10-point achievement earned by defeating Kil'jaeden in Tomb of Sargeras on Normal difficulty or higher without any Shadowsoul add finishing a cast of Destabilized Shadowsoul during the second intermission phase.
Burst Kil'jaeden Before Intermission
At around 55% health use Bloodlust and all major cooldowns at 45%, aiming to push Kil'jaeden below 40% before he finishes his 8-second cast that triggers the second intermission phase. Skipping the intermission entirely is the simplest way to complete this achievement.
Stage the Pull-Down
If skipping the intermission is not possible, hold Kil'jaeden at 42% and wait for a moment when neither Singularity nor Armageddon is incoming, then move the boss and the entire raid into a corner of the platform so that the Shadowsoul adds spawn clustered together.
Control Shadowsoul Adds
When the intermission begins, five Shadowsoul adds materialize over roughly 2 seconds before becoming targetable, and another 2 seconds later the room darkens. Use Death Grip on individual adds first, then Gorefiend's Grasp to mass-pull the cluster. The Destabilized Shadowsoul channel is not interruptible but is stopped by stuns, grips, disorients, and blinds, so classes with Leg Sweep or Shockwave should talent into those abilities.
Navigate Deceiver's Veil
During the intermission the Deceiver's Veil reduces everyone's view distance to roughly 8 yards, so all players should zoom their minimap in fully. Spread in a semicircle around Kil'jaeden before the phase so at least one player locates Illidan quickly and pings the minimap for the group.
