Got My Mind On My Money
Loot 100 gold.
Got My Mind On My Money is a 10-point achievement earned by looting a cumulative total of
100 gold from enemies and other lootable sources after patch 3.0.2.
Understand What Counts
Gold looted from mobs counts toward this achievement, as do lootable containers such as fishing daily bags. Pickpocketing enemies as a Rogue also counts. Note that any gold looted before patch 3.0.2 does not contribute to progress.
Farm Raids For Gold
Entering raids is the fastest method, as gold looted by other players in your party or raid group also counts toward your total. Raids from any expansion work, including Classic, The Burning Crusade, and Wrath of the Lich King content. Solo older raids at max level to keep all the looted gold for yourself.
Use Dungeons As Alternative
Five-man dungeons, especially on Heroic difficulty, are a viable alternative to raids. Running them with fewer players means more gold per person, so soloing older dungeons at max level is an efficient approach.
Tips
Running raids or dungeons with fewer players increases the gold per person, since loot is divided among the group.
