Style of the Crusader
Collect any class armor set from Trial of the Crusader.
Style of the Crusader is earned by collecting all pieces of any single Tier 9 class armor set from Trial of the Crusader, which are purchased entirely with gold from vendors outside the raid entrance in Icecrown.
Identify Your Class Set
There are 114 Tier 9 sets total, with most classes having between 1 and 3 spec-specific sets. Note that Monks and Demon Hunters have no Tier 9 sets and cannot earn this achievement. The Horde and Alliance versions have different colors and models, but changing raid difficulty does not change which faction appearance you receive.
Purchase the Armor Pieces
Fly to the Argent Tournament Grounds in northern Icecrown and speak with Aspirant Forudir or Valiant Laradia (Alliance) or Aspirant Naradiel or Valiant Bressia (Horde) outside the entrance to Trial of the Crusader to purchase all five pieces for gold. Alternatively, vendors in Dalaran-Northrend also carry Tier 9 pieces sorted by armor type — plate at the Blacksmithing trainer, cloth at Threads of Fate, and so on.
Choose Your Item Level
Tier 9 comes in three item levels: ilvl 232 (gold only), ilvl 245 (gold plus one
Trophy of the Crusade per piece), and ilvl 258 (also requires a Trophy of the Crusade). All three item levels count toward the achievement, so the ilvl 232 set is the fastest and cheapest to complete. Koralon the Flame Watcher in Vault of Archavon also drops the Gloves and Legs slots at ilvl 232 (10-player) or ilvl 245 (25-player) as an alternative source for those two slots.
Trigger the Achievement
The achievement does not award until all associated armor pieces become nonrefundable. The fastest way to make pieces nonrefundable is to destroy them after purchasing the full set, which will immediately trigger the achievement completion.
Tips
The 10-player and 25-player difficulties share the same set appearance, so you do not need to run both difficulties.
Some class sets have had Wrist, Gloves, and Belt slots added to their set interface — these are existing items retroactively flagged as set pieces, not new items, so check your set tracking carefully to confirm which slots actually need to be purchased.
