One Night in Karazhan
Speak with the Image of Medivh on Mythic difficulty in Return to Karazhan.
One Night in Karazhan is a 10-point achievement earned by speaking with the Image of Medivh on Mythic difficulty in Return to Karazhan, which requires collecting five Soul Fragments before a strict timer expires.
Enter on Mythic Difficulty
Zone into Return to Karazhan on Mythic difficulty. The moment you open the door after zoning in, a dark presence emote triggers and your 8-minute timer to reach the first Soul Fragment begins.
Loot Opera Soul Fragment
Rush to the Opera encounter, defeat it, then loot the Soul Fragment found in the audience area. This is Soul Fragment 1 of 5, and must be clicked within 8 minutes of zoning in.
Collect Medivh's Echo Buff
Clicking the first Soul Fragment grants you the Medivh's Echo buff with a 6-minute duration — this becomes your new timer. Each subsequent Soul Fragment adds 5 minutes to whatever time remains on the buff.
Loot Pre-Maiden Soul Fragment
Head toward Maiden of Virtue and loot the Soul Fragment located in the room just before the Maiden encounter. This is Soul Fragment 2 of 5.
Kill Moroes, Loot Fragment
Defeat Moroes, then loot the Soul Fragment found behind the table in his room. This is Soul Fragment 3 of 5. After Moroes dies, also pick up the key that appears on the ground — you will need it.
Loot Spider Room Fragment
Navigate to the Spider Room and loot the Soul Fragment there. This is Soul Fragment 4 of 5.
Clear Inhibitor Before Curator
Before engaging the Curator, carefully kill the Inhibitor mob in the area — being hit by it prevents you from using any abilities, which can derail your run.
Kill Curator, Loot Fragment
Defeat the Curator, then loot the final Soul Fragment in the room. This is Soul Fragment 5 of 5.
Speak with Image of Medivh
Run down to the area where Nightbane was summoned in the original Karazhan and speak with the Image of Medivh to complete the achievement, provided Medivh's Echo is still active.
Tips
If you fail the timer, you will see the emote 'The air grows slightly warmer' — as of November 8th, you can no longer reset the instance to try again within the same lockout period.
