Underbelly Tycoon
Loot 20,000 Sightless Eyes in Dalaran's Underbelly.
Underbelly Tycoon is a Legion Exploration achievement that rewards the
Ratstallion mount for looting a cumulative total of 20,000 Sightless Eyes in Dalaran's Underbelly.
Understand the Eye Cap
Sightless Eyes have a carry cap of 5,000, so you must spend them before collecting more. The achievement tracks your total cumulative eyes looted, not how many you currently hold, so spending them does not reset your progress.
Check the Guard Status
When you enter the Underbelly, you receive either a Sewer Guards or No Guards debuff. Sewer Guards means PvP is disabled and you can farm safely. No Guards means the area becomes a free-for-all PvP zone, during which you can earn 15–50 Eyes per player kill.
Pay for Personal Guard
If guards go on break and you want to avoid PvP, walk out of the tunnel, take a left up the small ramp, and pay a guard
5 gold for 5 minutes of personal protection.
Kill Rares with a Wand
Buy a
Wild Mana Wand from the Underbelly vendor once you have enough Eyes, then use it to tag a rare before pulling. Each rare kill rewards approximately 40–225 Sightless Eyes.
Battle the Blind Rat
After killing a rare, fight the Blind Rat pet battle for 75 Eyes — this takes just enough time for a new rare to spawn. A level 25 Anubisath Idol using Sandstorm and Crush can solo the battle without needing healing.
Fish the Black Market Area
If the Blind Rat is not available, fish at the green nodes in the Underbelly's Black Market area — you only need Legion Fishing rank 1. Pools yield 5–9 Eyes per catch, and chests found while fishing reward 10 Eyes (small), 40 Eyes (medium), or 100 Eyes (large).
Spend Eyes to Stay Under Cap
Spend your Sightless Eyes regularly on items such as pet battle consumables or high-rank profession recipes sold by Underbelly vendors so you stay below the 5,000 cap and can continue collecting toward 20,000 total.
Tips
Farming on a low-population realm or during off-peak hours reduces competition for rare spawns and makes the No Guards PvP window much less dangerous.
Rares stop spawning after a certain number of kills per session; when they stop, switch entirely to fishing and pet battles until the next session.
