Webbing Crashers
Defeat Elerethe Renferal in The Emerald Nightmare after destroying all her Pulsing Egg Sacs during the encounter on Normal difficulty or higher.
Webbing Crashers is a 10-point achievement earned by defeating Elerethe Renferal in The Emerald Nightmare after destroying all 7 Pulsing Egg Sacs during the encounter on Normal difficulty or higher.
Identify All 7 Egg Sacs
Before engaging Elerethe Renferal, locate all 7 glowing Pulsing Egg Sacs around the boss room. The ones that count are identified by red nightmare energy emitting from them. There are 3 at ground level, 1 below the small platform between the two large bottom platforms, and 3 on platforms outside the three main platforms.
Do Not Pre-Pop Eggs
Do not destroy any egg sacs before pulling Elerethe Renferal. If an egg is destroyed before the pull, all egg sacs will be absent when the boss respawns — however, all egg sacs including the required ones will reappear the moment the boss is pulled, so wipe and reset if this happens.
Destroy Ground-Level Eggs First
At the start of the encounter, kite Elerethe Renferal clockwise from her starting position to step on and destroy the 3 ground-level egg sacs: one on the left large platform near the boss start, one on the top large platform, and one on the small platform between the two bottom large platforms.
Reach the Four Outside Eggs
The 4 remaining egg sacs are located off the edges of the main platforms and can only be reached using the golden feather buff granted during Elerethe Renferal's transition phase, or through racial and class movement abilities. When using the feather, actually jump — do not simply run off the platform edge. Only attempt these eggs while Elerethe is in spider form and performing her Feeding Time ability, and ensure no adds are aggro'd on you, as an add that cannot reach you will cause the boss to reset.
Tips
If an add is aggro'd on you while you are on an outside platform, Elerethe Renferal will reset, so clear or avoid all adds before attempting the outer egg sacs.
