Grand Opening
Activate all the spotlights around the Nightwell and then defeat the Chronomatic Anomaly in The Nighthold, on Normal difficulty or higher.
Grand Opening requires you to activate all the spotlights around the Nightwell by detonating the Time Bomb debuff on the purple/blue circles on the floor, then defeat the Chronomatic Anomaly in The Nighthold on Normal difficulty or higher.
Enter The Nighthold
Enter The Nighthold and make your way to the Chronomatic Anomaly. Do not deal significant damage to the boss yet — aggro him with a single hit or taunt to get him attacking you.
Stand on Blue Circles
There are blue/purple circles on the floor around the path the boss patrols near the Nightwell. When the boss applies the Time Bomb debuff to you, position yourself on one of these circles so the bomb detonates on it, which causes a pillar of light to appear on that circle.
Activate All Spotlights
You need to detonate Time Bomb on all required spotlight circles — the achievement now requires 8 spotlights. Repeat the process for each Time Bomb the boss casts, cycling through the circles without burning the boss down prematurely.
Manage Chronometric Particles
Never leave to detonate a Time Bomb while you have stacks of Chronometric Particles, as this will kill you. Wait until your stacks are clear before moving to a circle. Similarly, never interrupt Power Overwhelming with a Time Bomb active, as the boss may cast another Time Bomb before yours expires, wasting a spotlight charge.
Defeat Chronomatic Anomaly
Once all required spotlights are activated, burn down the Chronomatic Anomaly to complete the achievement. Running this on Mythic difficulty solo is recommended, as higher difficulty produces more Time Bomb casts, giving you enough opportunities to light all the circles before the enrage timer.
Tips
Heroic or Mythic difficulty generates more Time Bomb casts than Normal, which is critical for lighting all the circles before the enrage timer — Normal difficulty may not produce enough bombs.
This achievement takes close to 15 minutes to complete solo due to the time required to collect enough Time Bomb detonations, so avoid rushing the boss down early.
