Complete 250 Legion Digsites.

No Stone Unturned is a World of Warcraft achievement earned by completing 250 Legion dig sites across the Broken Isles, rewarding the title The Groundbreaker.

1

Unlock Legion Archaeology

Travel to the Broken Isles and begin surveying dig sites. Legion introduces three new artifact races to excavate: Demon, Highmountain Tauren, and Highborne.

2

Complete 250 Dig Sites

Each dig site requires multiple surveys to fully excavate. On average, each site yields around 9 digs producing roughly 7 fragments each, totaling approximately 15, 750 fragments across all 250 sites before accounting for additional mob drops.

3

Get the Glove Enchant

Have an Enchanter craft the Legion surveying glove enchant for you, which increases surveying speed while in the Broken Isles and reduces the time spent completing each dig site.

4

Track Milestone Achievements

Completing 50 dig sites and 100 dig sites each grant their own separate achievements along the way, so progress toward No Stone Unturned is rewarded at those earlier thresholds as well.

Tips

  • Avoid spending keystones on common solves early on — save or sell fragments from races where you have already completed all five pristine finds, since the 250 dig sites will naturally generate around 6, 500 fragments per race regardless.

  • Mobs that spawn at dig sites drop additional fragments averaging roughly 15 fragments per mob, adding an estimated 3,750 bonus fragments across all 250 sites, which can contribute to solving extra projects without extra effort.
