Exploring the High Seas requires completing all Rare Naval Missions listed in the achievement criteria, which can be completed across multiple characters on the same account.
Complete Rare Naval Missions
Queue and complete all Rare Naval Missions required by the achievement. These missions spawn randomly, so clear available missions regularly to allow new ones to appear.
Track Per-Character Requirements
The missions rewarding a pet (Orphaned Animal Rescue) and a quest item (Black Market Journal) must both be completed on a single character — these two missions do not benefit from account-wide credit.
Tips
Missions that reward heirlooms may stop spawning once your account has already learned those items, but account-wide credit for the heirloom and mount missions was applied via a hotfix on 12/22/15 — if your alts collectively have completed all qualifying missions, log in to each character to receive credit.
