Northrend Vanguard

Purchase a tabard from each of the four factions — Argent Crusade, Wyrmrest Accord, Kirin Tor, and Knights of the Ebon Blade — once you reach Friendly with them. With a tabard equipped, all reputation earned in Northrend dungeons goes to that tabard's faction instead of the dungeon's default faction.

Run Northrend heroics daily for large chunks of reputation. A recommended circuit starts with Utgarde Keep and Utgarde Pinnacle, then Drak'Tharon Keep and Gundrak, followed by Halls of Stone and Halls of Lightning. Hearthstone to Dragonblight afterward and clear Ahn'kahet, Azjol-Nerub, and the three Icecrown Citadel dungeons. Use Bear Tartare and a hearthstone set to Dragonblight to keep travel time low. Nexus, Oculus, Violet Hold, Trial of the Champion, and Culling of Stratholme can supplement this run.

Commendations for all four factions can be purchased in Dalaran, with each commendation awarding 525 reputation and costing 16 justice points. Starting from the beginning of Friendly, each faction costs roughly 800 justice points to reach Exalted, meaning all four factions together cost approximately 3, 200 justice points total.

All four factions — Argent Crusade, Kirin Tor, Knights of the Ebon Blade, and Wyrmrest Accord — had their reputation gain increased by roughly 30% in patch 3.3, making the grind to Exalted faster than at launch.
