In Pursuit of Gul'dan
Complete the Garrison Campaign chapters listed below.
In Pursuit of Gul'dan is a 10-point achievement earned by completing six Garrison Campaign chapters introduced in patch 6.2, culminating in The Cipher of Damnation after a minimum of four weekly resets.
Build the Garrison Shipyard
Begin the questline by constructing your Garrison Shipyard. This starts the Garrison Campaign: War Council quest chain, which is the entry point into the 6.2 campaign.
Complete All Hands on Deck
Work through the shipyard quest chain — including We Need a Shipwright, Clearing the Docks, Derailment, The Train Gang, Hook Line and Sink Him, and Nothing Remains — leading to All Hands on Deck, which rewards the 'All Hands on Deck' achievement.
Complete The Invasion of Tanaan
After setting sail to Lunarfall Shipyard, complete Let's Get To Work, Shipbuilding, Strange Tools, and Ship Shape, then finish The Invasion of Tanaan. Both All Hands on Deck and The Invasion of Tanaan can be completed on the same day.
Complete Three Weekly Outpost Quests
After a relog following The Invasion of Tanaan, your Tanaan faction outpost will randomly offer one of three quests each week: Bane of the Bleeding Hollow, Dark Ascension, or The Fate of Teron'gor. One quest is available per week, and all three are completed across three consecutive weekly resets in a random order.
Complete The Cipher of Damnation
On the fourth weekly reset, after finishing all five preceding chapters, The Cipher of Damnation becomes available at your Tanaan Outpost. Completing it awards the In Pursuit of Gul'dan achievement.
Tips
This achievement requires a minimum of four weekly resets to complete: one for the introductory chapters and three more for the rotating outpost quests before The Cipher of Damnation unlocks.
If you are grouped with another player, you and your partner may each be assigned a different outpost quest randomly, even if you are on the same campaign step — these quests cannot be shared between party members.
